KOLI Event venue

The Koli Equestrian Center, Located in the heart of the Gila River Indian Reservation,

offers miles of breathtaking scenery and horseback riding trails and is conveniently

located just minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport. With plenty of room to accommodate

almost any function,

Koli is very popular venue for groups that wish to experience Arizona.

The journey will begin with a cowboy hat and bandana.

Adventure awaits as you prepare for Steer roping, tomahawk toss,

quick draw and horseshoes.Your western experience includes encouraged competition among guest.

Cowboy games are all optional; you can either participate or just laugh at your friend, the choice is yours! 

Your group will begin with a foot rodeo where the only judge is a clock. The rules are

simple and the stopwatch does the scoring. You will look those steers right in the eye as

you try to separate your team’s animals from the rest of the herd. This has been the

premier team building event and a highlight for those groups that choose to attempt it.

Teams of individuals come face-to-face with the challenge of out-thinking four steers and

getting them out of the herd. You will gain a new respect for cowboys who can get those

doggies moo-ving – it’s not as easy as it looks!

Next, it’s on to the Native American Hoop Dancers. The hoop dance is consistently the

most requested Native American dance throughout the United States. The hoops

symbolize a sacred part of the Native American life. It represents the circle of life with no

beginning and no ending. Watch as the dancer begins with one hoop and keeps adding

and weaving the hoops into formations that represent our journey through life. Each

added hoop represents another thread in the web of life. Sharing some of their heritage

and performing tribal dances in colorful costumes are their specialties. This educational

and entertaining dance performance is truly awe-inspiring!
